Looks like Ava threw back a few too many brews with her dad last night!

We love Grandma!

Tuesday night we had a fun visit with Grandma and Grandpa. During this picture, Ava was having loads of fun not allowing us to eat dinner. Woohoo!

I wonder what a professional photographer would say about this shot. All I know is that I freaking love it!!! Jefe (my sister's dog) is such a clown.

Mama and baby...

Since I'm always shooting the pics, I'm rarely in the shot. My sister got this one of me and Ava this weekend, during our visit to her house. I think Ava looks more like her daddy in this shot, no?

She has good hat head!

Fortunately, Ava looks good in hats. Now we have to find her the right size. Daddy's head is a tad bit bigger than hers.

Lunch with Uncle...

This weekend we had a GREAT time at the mall with Uncle Mike and his friend Brian. (I was just a wee bit excited to get out of the house.) Then Uncle Mike treated us to lunch. Thanks Unk! *Sergio noticed that Brian and Ava look related...they have the same eyes!

Today Ava's cousin Madisen is visiting. Clearly Ava is having a good time. Hopefully she takes a nap and rests up so we can go to lunch.

Happy Five Months Ava!

My little baby is growing up so fast. Yesterday, Monday, she celebrated her five months by going for a walk in the grass. (She's also getting due for a trim!)

Sunday afternoon, Ava woke up from a delicious nap just in time for a visit from Auntie Sandra and Uncle Russ. Ava loved the snuggles with Auntie Sandra. Come over any time!

Hairpuller is back...

...with a vengeance!! I don't have any pictures to prove it (since it happens when we're nursing), but she's been pulling her hair harder than ever. It's like she's rediscovered it, much to my dismay. I just try to laugh and not think my daughter is into pain.

Ava loves her future Uncle Casey. They were partying like rockstars last weekend. And, it was still morning!

A miracle!

My friend Almarosa has performed a modern miracle. She was able to get Ava to sleep in her arms - and in rapid time! This rarely (if ever) happens when someone besides mommy or daddy is holding Ava. Well done, Auntie Alma!

Sleep shopper!

Babies are so resilient. We were at Sephora, with it's bright lights and loud music, and Ava just feel asleep in my arms. All of the sales associates were practically attacking her, so she decided to end the irritation and fell asleep. Maybe she's playing possum!
